Fabulous 1930's dressing table SOLD

Exquisite kidney shaped dressing table professionally and lovingly hand painted and finished to achieve an authentically aged effect.
This stunning piece can be dated very precisely to May/June 1933 by the exciting discovery of the signatures of two artisans who helped to make the piece on the base of two of the drawers.
These signatures have been preserved and a Certificate of Authenticity comes with the piece ( I have also signed and dated the back of the third drawer to add to the historic notebook )
The dresser has two mirrors that swivel and one central mirror that tilts to various different angles on it's original fixing. There are some markings within the mirrors as you would expect from an item this age but they only add to the elegant charm. This is a truly wonderful piece that deserves to become a family heirloom and have pride of place once more.
