Antique Victorian Pine painted chest of drawers

This Victorian pine chest of drawers has been painted in two custom mixed blues and sympathetically distressed for a  faded grandeur timeworn look. The colours are similar to the colour palette that would have been used within the Victorian era whilst also being strikingly  contemporary.The inside of the drawers have been painted in an off white for a clean fresh feel and the sides of all the drawers have stencil embellishment in the same off white.The stencils on the top two drawers are designed, drawn and hand cut here picking up on the Victorian love of flora/fauna and animals/insects in design whilst bringing the drawers into the 21st century. SIZES :W 93cmD 43.5cmH 89cm (with upstand 98cm)The drawers are in full solid working order after sympathetic repair here at the Copper and Ash Interiors studio/workshop. There are two historical cracks on the top and on one side however they do not affect the drawers structurally and add to the antique charm.Likewise, these Victorian drawers have many marks and undulations making for a very tactile and unique piece of furniture which will bring life into whichever home it lives in.Please note free delivery applies within 10 miles of the studio PR7 5BW.Delivery further afield is available, most are approx £50 but please contact with your postcode for an accurate quote.
